Pride of Tameside

History

During 2008/9 Tameside College launched an impactive and very successful campaign which highlighted student success stories using a “Pride of Tameside” brand. The awards were designed to both raise the profile of the college through the success of its students, but also raise the aspirations of other young people who could be inspired by what their peers had achieved. The “Pride of Tameside” theme is now being expanded to celebrate the achievements of people from across Tameside in other fields such as volunteering, sport and business.
